Day 1: ARRIVAL AT GORAKHPUR
Arrive at Gorakhpur. After a meet and greet Check in to the hotel. Take some rest and fresh up. In the evening registration and briefing for the MUSTANG ON WHEELS Expedition. Relaxed and overnight stay.
Day 2: GORAKHPUR - CHITWAN

The route from Gorakhpur to Chitwan involves driving through the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and crossing the border into Nepal. Day 3: CHITWAN

Day 4: CHITWAN – TATOPANI

Starting from Chitwan, travelers will pass through the bustling city of Pokhara before heading towards the remote mountainous regions of the Myagdi district. The journey is characterized by narrow and winding roads, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After reaching the small village of Tatopani, visitors can soak in the natural hot springs and explore the nearby trails and villages, which offer a glimpse into the local culture and traditions. Although the road conditions can be challenging, The journey is worth the effort for those seeking an authentic and adventurous experience in Nepal.
Day 5: TATOPANI – JOMSON
Distance: 100 Kms
Duration: 5 Hrs
Highlights: Rupse Chhara, Kalopani, Views of Dhaulagiri & Annapurna Peaks
After an early breakfast, We will have a Daily brief about the day’s journey. It is important to note the roads are narrow and caution should be maintained at all times. This is a scenic drive transitioning into subtropical vegetation of Banyan trees and poinsettias. The tracks are under construction so you will switch periodically from graveled to offroad. The tracks follow the Kali Ghandaki river gorge to cross a bridge near a spectacular waterfall – Rupse Chhara (Acclaimed as the 2nd largest waterfall in South Asia. As the trail continues, we enter the Himalayan rain shadow and notice another vegetation transition to coniferous forests on our way to Kalopani (2500m.) for lunch Weather permitting; from here we enjoy spectacular 360-degree views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna high above. Then we shall commence our journey to Jomsom for our overnight stay. Overnighting here allows the participants to acclimatize so they can properly enjoy the rest of the journey. Check in to your respective hotel/lodge. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: JOMSON
Highlights: Scenic Drive, Kalighandki River Crossing, Muktinath Temple, Kagbani Tour
The day’s journey is all off-road single tracks. This is a scenic drive transitioning from coniferous forests on to the Himalayan Deserts of Lower Mustang as we make our way to Muktinath Temple (2500m.). Our first real river crossing of the Kalighandki will be attempted. This is a fairly exciting part of the trip for many first-timers and seasoned veterans. There is also a bridge that can be used. As we make our climb up to Muktinath (mostly Tarmac now) you will experience dramatic power loss in your vehicles. This is what we call “High Altitude Sickness Stage-1 for your Vehicle”. The lack of oxygen saturation in the air affects our vehicles the same as we. You will also begin to feel the altitude, your breathing become heavy and you will feel lethargic. Our team and medic will always be monitoring you but please inform a team member if you have any concerns. Altitude sickness is a serious alignment and should not be treated lightly. We will park in the Parking Area. After visiting the Temple and its grounds we will proceed for Lunch at a local Restaurant. The team will keep you in altitude to help you acclimatize for the onward journey. Prior to returning to Jomsom for the evening, we will stop at Kagbeni for a tour. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7: JOMSON – LOMANTHANG
Distance: 60 Kms
Duration: 7 Hrs
Highlights: Dhakmar Hills, Ghami Village, Chhuksang Village
Breakfast will be set at 6:30 AM with a Daily brief on today’s journey. The group shall travel the main road and will cross some 4000 m passes where spectacular views can be seen. This group will witness the iconic Dhakmar Cliffs/hills. Lunch will be packed lunch today. Leaders will decide a suitable time and location to stop for lunch. Depending on the time of arrival we will decide whether a group tour of the Ancient City and Monastery is possible or not. Check into the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner is provided to participants. In the evening we will advise the next day's activities options.
Day 8: LOMANTHANG
Highlights: Thubshen Gompa, Monasteries Visit, Caves & Old Palace Visit, Koro-la Border
After breakfast, convene at the designated meeting point at 7:30AM to begin Daily brief on today’s program. Day Activities options include Visit Monasteries (Thubshen Gompa), Visit Caves & old palace, Koro-la border.
Day 9: LOMANTHANG – JOMSON
Distance: 60 Kms
Duration: 7 Hrs
After an early breakfast participants are requested to convene at the designated meeting point at 6:30 AM to begin the day’s journey. A daily brief on today’s program will be provided at the start of the drive.
Day 10: JOMSON – POKHRA
Highlights: Lunch at Old Kamala Lodge, Hot Springs
Distance: 160 Kms
Duration: 7 Hrs
After an early breakfast participants are requested to convene at the designated meeting point at 7:30 AM to begin the day’s journey. Lunch at Tatopani at Old Kamala Lodge with a visit to hot springs should you wish to. After Lunch continues to Pokhara and Check in to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 11: POKHRA
Highlights: Phewa Lake, Sarangkot, World Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave
After concurring multiple challenges that the terrain has to offer the convoy will sit back and relax at Pokhra for a day, the participants will be on their own to explore. Surely crew will be around to suggest some places and help you explore.
Day 12: POKHRA – GORAKHPUR
Distance: 280 Kms
Duration: 9 Hrs
Highlights: Lumbini, Sunauli, Kushinagar
The route covers a distance of around 280 kilometres, and can take approximately 9 hours to reach your destination. Along the way, there are several places of interest to stop and explore, including Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.The roads can be narrow and winding in some sections, so it's important to drive cautiously and take frequent breaks to avoid fatigue. As the day draws to a close, you'll arrive at Gorakhpur, where you'll be spending the night at a hotel. This presents an ideal opportunity to reflect on the memories and experiences gained thus far during the trip.
Day 13: DEPARTURE DAY
In the morning, wake up and have breakfast. Following that, check out of the hotel. You can either freely explore city on your own or drive back to Home.
